Father HoLung and the Brothers of the Missionary of the Poor (MOP) care for over 550 homeless people in 6 shelters in Kingston, Jamaica.  They also feed 200 needy families weekly.  The Brothers also minister to and bring weekend food to the imprisoned, because inmates do not get fed on the weekends by the jail facility.  During our many parish mission trips to Kingston, to help out personally…..we have seen the Face of Jesus in the desperately poor people of Kingston.  Our Lenten Food Drive at STA provides the MOP with the food they need to accomplish their work of Feeding and Caring for Gods people, the poorest of the poor.   The parishioners at STA have / are wonderful examples of being The Lords hands, feet, ears and mouth here on earth.  THANK YOU for your support of the wonderful ministry.
