ADULT FAITH FORMATION BEGINS RCIA REGISTRATION IN AUGUST 2023
RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) Registration will be the entire month of August with sessions beginning in September for both English and Spanish speaking.
ENGLISH SESSIONS:
1) Begin Sunday, September 10th from 9:30AM to 1:00PM for the following:
- Adults 18 years and older in need of any or all of the 3 Sacraments of Initiation – Baptism, Communion, and Confirmation.
- Exception English sessions only: for young adults 18, 19, or 20 years of age ONLY needing Confirmation.
SPANISH SESSIONS:
2) Begin Saturday, September 9th from 6:30 pm to 9 pm for the following:
- Adults 18 years and older in need of any or all of the 3 Sacraments of Initiation – Baptism, Communion, and Confirmation.
Requirements Needed for both English and Spanish speaking:
1) Written proof of baptism required. If not baptized, copy of birth certificate.
2) A Catholic Godparent/Sponsor to attend Masses and some of the sessions.
Godparent/Sponsor needs to:
Be in full communion with the Catholic Church and in good standing with the Church.
Received the 3 Sacraments of Initiation – Baptism, Communion, and Confirmation and attends Mass regularly.
Attend a scheduled facilitated session on being a Godparent/Sponsor.
Attend the same Masses and some of the sessions.
3) Registration is completed online with a link sent from Adult Faith Formation.
Registration fee is paid at the time the online application is completed.
Registration fee is $80.
