I’m Clemente Félix Mário, born on September 15th, 1977, in Ganda, Benguela Region, Angola/ Africa. I’m the first born of nine children of my parents: five boys and 4 girls, whereby three of them have passed. My mother also passed on 2008.

My favorite sport is soccer and l used to play soccer when I was in the seminary and now due to pastoral responsibilities, I go jogging three times a week. I also like to read. When it comes to food, I like a polenta from maze which I can eat with vegetables, sea food and meat as well as others.

I was an alter server in my home Parish, St. John the Baptist in Benguela Diocese. Being touched by many La Salette missionaries, at the age of 16, I decided to join students of La Salette Seminary. After my High School, I was admitted to Our Lady Of La Salette Seminary September 16th , 1995 to have the first step of being a Priest which is Orientation. I studied Philosophy and Theology, having novitiate in 1999 to 2000.

I belong to the Missionary of Our Lady of La Salette since 2000 as religious and ordained to the Priesthood on September 17th, 2006. So as a missionary I was sent to Namibia, where I have been working for 11 years. Within 11 years, I was a Pastor for 8 years at Omuthiya Pastoral District, in Archdiocese of Windhoek, Namibia.

In 2017 I was chosen to be a missionary in USA. So, I arrived in USA on June 26th , 2018. And currently I’m assigned in Smyrna, at St Thomas the Apostle Church as a Parochial Vicar.
