32nd Annual Lenten Food Drive for Missionaries of the Poor

It is that time of the year for our 32nd Annual STA-MOP Lenten Food Drive. This year we will support the Missionaries of the Poor (MOP) Brothers and Fr. Ho Lung with monetary cash donations. With your donations we will purchase Direct from the USA Food Manufacturer our needed food items (i.e. Flour, Peanut Butter, Beans, Oatmeal, Tuna Fish, and Rice). We are Christians following in Jesus Christ’s footsteps, and it is our responsibility to help out where we can. Every little bit helps, as we continue to support of the Missionaries of the Poor who serve the poorest of the poor in Kingston, Jamaica.
Jesus said “whatever you do for the least of your brothers, you do unto Me.”
Make all checks payable to MOP – USA. Place your envelope (with donation) into the St. Thomas the Apostle collection basket OR mail donations to the church OR drop donations into the box outside of the church office door. Thank you and many blessings!
32ª Colecta Anual de Alimentos de Cuaresma para Misioneros de los pobres

Es esa época del año para nuestra 32ª Colecta Anual de Alimentos de Cuaresma STA-MOP. Este año apoyaremos al Padre Ho Lung y los hermanos Misioneros de los Pobres (MOP) con donaciones monetarias en efectivo. Con sus donaciones compraremos los alimentos directamente del fabricante (es decir, harina, mantequilla de maní, frijoles, avena, atún y arroz). Somos cristianos siguiendo los pasos de Jesucristo y es nuestra responsabilidad ayudar en lo que podamos. Todo ayuda, mientras continuamos apoyando al Padre HoLung y a los Hermanos de los Misioneros de los Pobres que sirven a los más pobres en Kingston, Jamaica.
Jesús dijo “todo lo que hagáis a uno de vuestros hermanos más pequeños, a mí me lo hacéis.”
Por favor haga el cheque a nombre de MOP – USA. Coloque su sobre (con la donación) en la canasta de recolección de Santo Tomás Apóstol, envíe las donaciones por correo a la iglesia o deje su donación en la caja afuera de la puerta de la oficina de la iglesia. ¡Gracias y muchas bendiciones!
