Holy Thursday Pilgrimage 2015

Pilgrimage for Immigrants, Holy Week 2015

‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or ill or in prison, and not minister to your needs?’ – Matthew 25:44

The Holy Thursday Pilgrimage is a segment of the Pilgrimage for Immigrants, Holy Week 2015 – an act of faith and solidarity. Since its founding, the United States has welcomed immigrants from around the world who have found opportunity and safe haven here. Today, more immigrants journey to our country than our current laws allow. Instead of addressing the root causes of immigration, our current U.S. policies dehumanize and exploit millions of immigrants, make their journey more dangerous, their arrival less welcoming, and their families more vulnerable.
This interfaith pilgrimage through North Georgia and Metro Atlanta is a prayer with feet. The Pilgrimage shows our unity in the quest to find a comprehensive solution for immigration reform. This walking prayer recognizes the dignity all people equally deserve and prays that we build relationships that are just and loving.

Holy Thursday Pilgrimage, April 2nd
Join in a walking celebration of faith and solidarity that includes song, prayer, testimonials, and fellowship. All faiths, ethnicities, and ages are welcome.
